Bio: Megan is a speech-language therapist and a certified lactation consultant at Our Village. She obtained her BA and MA degrees from the University of Pretoria (UP) and she is also a part-time lecturer at UP. She has a keen interest in the pediatric population, specifically with regards to children with cleft-lip and -palate and language delays and those in need of early communication intervention (0-3 years old).

Her services include communication screening, speech, language and listening assessments and intervention at her practice rooms at BCF The Village. Her passion further extends to breastfeeding and pediatric feeding difficulties – whether it is the management of latching difficulties, pain associated with breastfeeding, low milk supply, bottle feeding difficulties or transitioning to solid foods. These services are provided at her practice rooms, at hospitals or via home visits. Her mission is to help improve the quality of life of people whose paths she crosses, through compassion, respect and evidence-based care.
